Manganocalcite & Pyrite

Description

This specimen is a highly aesthetic association from Cavnic, a famous mining locality in Romania. It features pale pink manganocalcite and standard calcite on a massive sphalerite matrix, adorned with tiny pyrite crystals. A very beautiful specimen, characteristic of Cavnic sulfides. Specimen from an old collection.
