Stibnite on Calcite

Description

Spectacular specimen of stibnite from Romania. It consists of a calcite geode featuring brilliant tufts of stibnite. Other calcite crystals can be seen "impaled" on the stibnite needles. The specimen is in pristine condition and of high quality. A European classic from a mine that is now closed. This piece comes from an old collection.
